Hi Rach! I miss seeing your beautiful face and gimpy knees around. Didn’t know you had actually made it to Africa. You must have been bouncing off the walls. I have no idea how I came across your blog, but it is very timely.

I am working on a project you may be interested in contributing to. I’d like to talk with you about it privately, but don’t have your number. Can you email me?

    GREAT blog, by the way.

Hi I found your blog when searching for a song, “I know who I am” by Israel Houghton and Chris Tomlin, and in Google it came up on Morsels from God.. There was a list of blogs on the right hand side and the name, Living my faith out loud caught my eye so I clicked on it.

That’s how I found your blog. A lot of what I read really gripped my heart, really encouraged me and inspired me in the things of God and knowing God more – so thanks heaps. I also like your list of scriptures that you say out loud, and the cartoons you’ve included on your blogs. Its great to read.

I’m from Perth, Australia by the way.

Skippy! Ok, so I am finally writing a comment. You know who I am already—foo-foo skippy! All I have to say is, hello, where is the blog about the infamous donut falling on my car????

Oh and I recently got a devo book on clearance called Grace by the Cup: A Break from the Daily Grind by Louise Bergmann Dumont. I love it because she writes exactly how I would and uses analogies of coffee to relate to her spiritual walk with Christ.

Being a fellow coffee fiend, I think you’d enjoy it!

This may sound really lame…. But I actually google “speak to me Lord” and your blog popped up. I’ve been raised in the church.. I actually have always envied those like you, who “once were lost, but now am found”. Don’t get me wrong, I know we all are sinners in need of a savior… But Ive been walking with the Lord for as long as I can remember.. And instead of conforming to the image of God, I feel like slowly I’ve conformed to the image of this world. I miss Him… I know He hasn’t left me… But I feel so far from Him. Your writing brought me to tears… It reminded me of me. It literally could have been ripped from the pages of my journals… I used to have such passion… Praying I will again… I see you haven’t written in a while… I pray you are still full of the same faith, fervor and joy as when you first believed. Blessings.

Hi, Rachel. My name is Mary, and I “stumbled” upon your blog tonight by googling, “Lord, speak to me.” : ) I have been a believer since childhood (a few decades, that is), but not a day goes by without my wanting to hear the Lord speak to me. I just wanted to say that I am grateful for your reminder that the Lord speaks not in the thunder, earthquake, or fire, but through a whisper – His still, small voice. It is so nice for you to have confirmed just what it is we are to be looking for and expecting, as we come to the Lord. So, thank you! : ) I can tell from the spirit of your writing that you are a true believer! God speed, Mary

Have waited quite a time for God to talk to me. I posted “Speak to me LORD” today on my facebook page. After I searched on google for the LORD to talk to me and brought me to your blog.

Really appreciate what I read here, indeed God has spoken to me.
    Bless you.

My name is Kim and I too am a believer in Christ, I just so happen to be fighting breast cancer too, IDC stage one estrogen and progesterone positive. I stumbled across your blog because a friend of mine posted it to my Facebook wall and asked me to pray for you. Please contact me anytime if you need someone to talk to or pray with. We are traveling down same road with the same diagnoses, I have chosen to treat mine a little different but that is how this journey is with cancer, we all have different paths. Here is a link to my blog. kimandcancer.com if you want to read it.
God protect you and give you strength through this scary journey.

One or your new sisters! Love the speak to me blog, Rach. Feeling the same way – asking the Lord to speak and simply closing my mouth, closing my eyes, and receiving the counsel of His Spirit.

Im not sure how I found you. It might have been a friend on Facebook. We were diagnosed around the same time. We took different approches in treating breast cancer but have our faith in Christ in common. I love reading your blog too. I will be updating mine next month. I have my blood work ordered and one more surgery. Your faith in the Lotd is increadable. I’m so happy you are rounding the corner:)
    God bless,
