hi Rachel. I’m a seventeen year old boy whose life has really been touched by your stories. recently everything in my life and my relationship with God has been in such confusion – even now i don’t understand it. but when i read you posts theyreally helped. your really an inspiration – keep rejoicing in the Lord He is so GOOD!!
Hi Rach! I miss seeing your beautiful face and gimpy knees around. Didn’t know you had actually made it to Africa. You must have been bouncing off the walls. I have no idea how I came across your blog, but it is very timely.
I am working on a project you may be interested in contributing to. I’d like to talk with you about it privately, but don’t have your number. Can you email me?
Hi I found your blog when searching for a song, “I know who I am” by Israel Houghton and Chris Tomlin, and in Google it came up on Morsels from God.. There was a list of blogs on the right hand side and the name, Living my faith out loud caught my eye so I clicked on it.
That’s how I found your blog. A lot of what I read really gripped my heart, really encouraged me and inspired me in the things of God and knowing God more – so thanks heaps. I also like your list of scriptures that you say out loud, and the cartoons you’ve included on your blogs. Its great to read.
Skippy! Ok, so I am finally writing a comment. You know who I am already—foo-foo skippy! All I have to say is, hello, where is the blog about the infamous donut falling on my car????
Oh and I recently got a devo book on clearance called Grace by the Cup: A Break from the Daily Grind by Louise Bergmann Dumont. I love it because she writes exactly how I would and uses analogies of coffee to relate to her spiritual walk with Christ.
Being a fellow coffee fiend, I think you’d enjoy it!
This may sound really lame…. But I actually google “speak to me Lord” and your blog popped up. I’ve been raised in the church.. I actually have always envied those like you, who “once were lost, but now am found”. Don’t get me wrong, I know we all are sinners in need of a savior… But Ive been walking with the Lord for as long as I can remember.. And instead of conforming to the image of God, I feel like slowly I’ve conformed to the image of this world. I miss Him… I know He hasn’t left me… But I feel so far from Him. Your writing brought me to tears… It reminded me of me. It literally could have been ripped from the pages of my journals… I used to have such passion… Praying I will again… I see you haven’t written in a while… I pray you are still full of the same faith, fervor and joy as when you first believed. Blessings.
just wanting God to use me and spek to me this morning and the search came up with you, thanks. My past has been bad, but God is transforming me, he has taken the worst situation you could ever imagine and chnaged it for good. i just want to serve Him forever. thanks playing a part in that transformation.
